“W is for Tijn Wybenga. His 13-piece Brainteaser Orchestra with guest Theo Ceccaldi were the opening act. Hugely inventive and fast-thinking music, this writing and this vivaciousness are a potent combination. I loved the tune “Crest” which brilliantly takes a melodic line for a walk with some contrapuntal encounters along the way.
